Which day is actually the seventh day? As a Sabahan, we normally count the day with number... The local dialect number: Ari Satu (Monday), Ari Dua (Tuesday), Ari Tiga (Wednesday), Ari Ampat (Thursday), Ari Lima (Friday), and Ari Anam (Saturday). The only day that they refuse to call by number is the Sunday (we call it Ari Minggu). "Minggu" means week. "Satu" means number one (1), "Dua" means number two (2), "Tiga" number three (3), Ampat or empat means four, "Lima" number five and "anam" or enam means six (6). Even in Sabah here, we do not call the Sunday as the seventhday, rather we call it "The week day". Which is the true seventhday?
Some calendar we could normally see the arrangements of the day start with Sunday and ends with Saturday. Some calendar they start with Monday and ends with Sunday. This could result in confusion on which is which.
Let us see some of the article we could search by google engine, which is actually the original seventhday. According to the modern calendar, (which is The Gregorian Calendar), most of the week started with Monday. Although majority of them appear with The Sunday is the 1st day of the week. Here are some site that would give you ideas on which is the seventhday of the week..
